To find out about a particular option, select that option and press F1 or click the Help button. To exit Setup, press F3 or click Exit. ~DISIN_SCRN1 Please enter your full name and the name of your company. Setup copies this information to a file on your disk. The information is used for copyright protection. ~DISIN_SCRN2 If the information is correct, choose Continue. If the information is incorrect, retype it, then choose Continue. ~DISIN_SCRN3 The mouse software has already been installed and is licensed to the person or organization shown. ~DRIVER_FOUND_SCREEN To write over the existing mouse driver, select Yes. To create a new directory for your mouse, select No, then enter the new directory in the next screen. NOTE: Do not use extended characters in the directory box. ~DIRECTORY The directory box indicates the drive and directory where Setup installs the mouse files. Choose Continue to install the software for your mouse into the default directory. To create a new directory for your mouse, enter the path and the name of the new directory, then choose Continue. If the directory you tell Setup to use doesn't exist, Setup creates it and copies the mouse driver files there. NOTE: Do not use extended characters in the directory box. Do not choose a RAM drive unless your computer preserves this memory when it is turned off. The mouse software will not be installed and no changes will be made to your system. ~MODIFY_PATH Setup adds the directory you specified to the PATH statement in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. If no PATH statement exists, Setup creates one. Note that Setup creates a backup of an existing AUTOEXEC.BAT file in the root directory and names the backup AUTOEXEC.BAK. NOTE: Please be aware that if you do not add the mouse to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file, the file may contain older versions of mouse software and the new software may not run properly. You'll need to replace older drivers (for example, MOUSE.COM or MOUSE.SYS) with the new driver MOUSE.EXE. It's easiest to let Setup do it for you. ~LOAD_AUTO Setup adds a line containing MOUSE.EXE to the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. If you don't select this option, you will have to load the mouse manually every time you start your computer (see Help in Mouse Manager). ~ACTIVATE_LCD Setup automatically makes the mouse pointer larger and reverses its color to improve its visibility. ~CPANEL_SCREEN Mouse Manager lets you customize your mouse software. ~FINAL_SCRN Click the Meet the Mouse button to run a short demonstration about the mouse and its software. You'll return to this screen after the demonstration is finished. Once you've seen the demonstration, choose Restart to exit Windows and initialize your mouse software. Setup then automatically opens Windows and Mouse Manager. Choose Restart to exit Windows and initialize your mouse software. Setup automatically loads Mouse Manager when you return to Microsoft Windows. Use Mouse Manager to customize your mouse after Setup. You can access Mouse Manager anytime from the Windows Control Panel or from the Mouse Program Group, which Setup creates. Click Exit to quit Setup without restarting Windows. Please be aware that your mouse software will not be loaded and initialized until you exit Microsoft Windows after the Mouse Setup Program.
